After manufacturing, adhesive tapes are typically collected in bulk and require sorting before sleeving. Once individually packaged, products must be rearranged again before entering multipack packaging. Without automated transfer and handling between these stages, manufacturers face unnecessary labor, product accumulation and unstable production flow.

This customer wanted an automated packaging line capable of meeting three primary objectives.
- Automatic Product Feeding: Manual loading and product alignment had become a production bottleneck. An automatic feeding and separation system was required to improve feeding consistency while reducing labor.
- Individual and Multipack Integration: After individual packaging, products previously required manual collection and rearrangement before entering 10-pack collective packaging. The customer wanted a continuous automated workflow.

Rather than recommending a single machine, Benison evaluated the entire packaging process and redesigned the workflow to ensure stable product positioning and continuous conveying throughout every stage of production.
This solution integrates the LG-150 (CE) Automatic Shrink Sleeve Applicator with the SSA-600 Sleeve-Type Sealer, together with automatic product feeding, separator paper placement, quality inspection and product reorientation. The complete line enables continuous production from individual shrink sleeve packaging to 10-pack multipack packaging on a single automated system.
How Are Adhesive Tapes Automatically Aligned?
After production, adhesive tapes are typically collected in bulk. Manual loading onto the conveyor requires continuous labor and can create inconsistent product flow, reducing packaging efficiency. Benison integrates an automatic tape separating and aligning system that organizes products and feeds them sequentially into the packaging line. Why Use a Mold-Head Conveyor System?
Adhesive tape is a cylindrical product that requires uniform heat exposure during the shrinking process. With conventional conveying systems, fixed product positions may result in uneven shrinkage and inconsistent label appearance. Benison's customized Mold-Head conveyor allowing heat to be distributed evenly around the entire sleeve. This improves shrink quality, sleeve conformity and overall package appearance. Why Is Separator Paper Required?
Because the edges of adhesive tape remain sticky after production, direct contact between the adhesive surface and the shrink sleeve may affect package appearance and product usability. To prevent this, a separator paper is automatically inserted into the center of each tape roll before shrinking. A robotic handling system performs this process consistently while preserving package integrity and supporting stable downstream production.
How Are Defective Products Prevented from Entering Multipack Packaging?
