Environmental Sustainability

From energy use and carbon emissions management in manufacturing to recycled materials and packaging design, Benison considers product protection, production conditions and resource use when helping customers develop sustainable packaging solutions that can be implemented in practice.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Carbon Management

Benison has completed verification of its greenhouse gas inventory in accordance with ISO 14064-1. We use the inventory data as a basis for energy management and carbon reduction planning, progressively identifying emissions sources within our operations and opportunities for improvement.

Heat Recovery and Energy Use

Benison has introduced a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) and waste-heat-driven cooling applications. By incorporating heat recovery into manufacturing energy planning, we work to improve energy use across our facilities.

Recycled Materials and Sustainable Packaging

Since 2024, all Benison PET shrink labels have incorporated 10% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, with 30% and 50% PCR options available on request. We also offer PP and PE mono-material flexible packaging to help customers assess material structures and design for recycling.

Material and Equipment Compatibility Assessment

Based on product dimensions, protection requirements and production conditions, Benison helps customers assess packaging material specifications, sealing parameters and shrink conditions to identify opportunities to reduce material consumption and packaging waste.

People and Social Responsibility

The packaging industry advances through technical expertise and shared experience. Through industry events, live equipment demonstrations and technical services, Benison shares experience in material selection, equipment applications and packaging line planning to strengthen the packaging expertise of customers and partners.
